The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Vatsalya Vihar Public School. The event began with flag hoisting by our Principal, followed by a parade by NCC cadets. Students presented patriotic songs, dances, and a skit depicting the freedom struggle.

Special guest Dr. Anita Kumari addressed the gathering, inspiring students to contribute to nation-building. The event concluded with distribution of sweets and the national anthem.

Over 500 students participated in various activities including fancy dress, patriotic singing, and essay writing competitions. The school premises were decorated with tricolor balloons and flags.
